Traveling from the North or Northeast

  • Take I-45 or Hwy 59 heading South
  • Exit I-10, heading West
  • Exit #764 Washington/Westcott
  • Right on Washington
  • Road forks – take left fork towards Old Katy Road
  • Old Katy Road dips to go under a railroad and immediately rises again
  • The Wildlife Center of Texas is after the railroad on the left – just before Portway dr, inside the Houston SPCA main building.

Traveling from the East: (includes Downtown Houston)

  • Take I-10 heading West
  • Exit #764 Washington/Westcott
  • Right on Washington
  • Road forks – take left fork towards Old Katy Road
  • Old Katy Road dips to go under a railroad and immediately rises again
  • The Wildlife Center of Texas is after the railroad on the left – just before Portway dr, inside the Houston SPCA main building.

Traveling from the Southeast:

  • Take I-45, heading North to I-10
  • Take I-10 West exit towards San Antonio
  • Exit #764 Washington/Westcott
  • Right on Washington
  • Road forks – take left fork towards Old Katy Road
  • Old Katy Road dips to go under a railroad and immediately rises again
  • The Wildlife Center of Texas is after the railroad on the left – just before Portway dr, inside the Houston SPCA main building.

Traveling from the South:

  • Take TX-35 or Hwy 288, heading North
  • Merge onto I-45, heading North
  • Take I-10 West exit towards San Antonio
  • Exit #764 Washington/Westcott
  • Right on Washington
  • Road forks – take left fork towards Old Katy Road
  • Old Katy Road dips to go under a railroad and immediately rises again
  • The Wildlife Center of Texas is after the railroad on the left – just before Portway dr, inside the Houston SPCA main building.

Traveling from the Southwest:

  • Take US 59, heading North
  • Exit 610, heading North
  • Take I-10 East towards Downtown
  • Exit #764 Washington/Westcott (first exit)
  • Left on Washington (goes over I-10)
  • Road forks – take left fork towards Old Katy Road
  • Old Katy Road dips to go under a railroad and immediately rises again

Traveling from the West:

  • Take I-10, heading East towards Downtown
  • Exit #764 Washington/Westcott (first exit after 610)
  • Left on Washington (goes over I-10)

Traveling from the Galleria / Memorial Park area:

  • Take 610, heading North
  • Take I-10, heading East towards Downtown
  • Exit #764 Washington/Westcott (first exit after 610)
  • Left on Washington (goes over I-10)
  • Road forks – take left fork towards Old Katy Road
  • Old Katy Road dips to go under a railroad and immediately rises again
  • The Wildlife Center of Texas is after the railroad on the left – just before Portway dr, inside the Houston SPCA main building.

Traveling from Hwy 249:

  • Take Hwy 249 heading South
  • Exit to Beltway 8 headed South
  • Exit the Beltway to Hwy 290 headed East
  • From 290, take the I-10 East exit towards Downtown
  • Exit #764 Washington/Westcott (first exit)
  • Left on Washington (goes over I-10)
  • Road forks – take left fork towards Old Katy Road
  • Old Katy Road dips to go under a railroad and immediately rises again
