Our mission is to care for injured, ill, orphaned, and oiled wildlife through rehabilitation, public education, and release. The Wildlife Center of Texas cares for over 12,000 wild animals every year! Volunteers and donations help us meet our mission.

Rehabilitation is the care of orphaned and injured wildlife with the goal of release back into the wild in a physical condition that optimizes survival.

Public Education allows us to share our message of peaceful co-existence: respect for ourselves, each other, and our environment along with responsible stewardship of our environment and wildlife ecosystems.

Oiled Wildlife Response allows us to educate industry professionals in the prevention and effective response that will maximize the survival of affected wildlife. Our Oiled Wildlife Response team is available to respond to emergencies along the entire Gulf Coast.
